From STANSTED AIRPORT to Southwell House.

There are ***two ways to get from Stansted Aiport to Southwell House: by coach or by train and tube.

*** By coach   Get the National Express bus service A6  (do not get on any other coach even if it says it is going to London) from just outside the main terminal at Stansted Airport.  Coaches run about every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day.  The fare is about £10.00 single.  It is about a one hour journey.
Ask to be put down at Finchley Road tube station, also called the O2 centre.  You will be set down opposite Finchley Road tube station (see map).

*** By train  Get a train from Stansted Airport station to London,   trains run about every 15 minutes, less in the late evening.   Trains do not run between 11.00pm  and 6.00am.   Journey time is about 50 minutes.
The single fare is £15, though cheaper fares may be available, especially if you book in advance.
The train will arrive at London Liverpool Street Station.

Walk across the concourse to the underground station     You will need to buy a zone 1 & 2 underground ticket  which is £3.  Look for the Metropolitan Line platform, going westwards. Look at the indicator on the platform:
Take any Metropolitan line train.
    (If no Metropolitan line train is shown, take any train and change at Baker Street
       At Baker Street, find your way to the Metropolitan line platforms.
       Take any northbound train.)
Get off at Finchley Road Station.
