How to get from London Mainline stations to Southwell House (print this page and take it with you)
You also need to print the map to get from Finchley Road tube station to Southwell House.
(Underground (tube) trains do not run between about 11.30pm and 5.30am)

Euston

Look for the Underground.  You need a zone 1 & 2 ticket (£3.00)    There are several underground lines at Euston, go for the Northern Line. There are two branches of the Northern line at Euston, either will do, you want the northbound platform  You need a train that is going towards Edgware or Golders Green.  Get off at Hampstead

When you reach the street, you will be at one of two exits, both on the same corner of the crossroads.  See the map.   At the crossroads, cross the road that comes up from your left.  You are then in Heath Street, which soon changes to Fitzjohn's Avenue   Keep walking, the road goes downhill.   At the second pedestrian crossing with flashing beacons (not traffic lights)  we are right there on the right.

Kings Cross  (this station is being extensively re-built, and at the moment is changing quite rapidly)

There are three parts to Kings Cross station: the main station, the Thameslink station, and St Pancras station.
Follow the signs for the Underground   You will need to buy a zone 1 & 2 underground ticket (£3.00)  Look for the Metropolitan Line platform, going westwards.  Look at the indicator on the platform:   Take any Metropolitan line train  (If no Metropolitan line train is shown, take any train and change at Baker Street,  there, find your way to the Metropolitan line platforms, and take any northbound train.)   Get off at Finchley Road Station.   See map to get from Finchley Road  to Southwell House

Liverpool Street

Walk across the concourse to the underground station.   You will need to buy a zone 1 & 2 underground ticket (£3.00)  Look for the Metropolitan Line platform, going westwards.  Look at the indicator on the platform:  Take any Metropolitan line train.  (If no Metropolitan line train is shown, take any train and change at Baker Street. Find your way to the Metropolitan line platforms at Baker Street. . Take any northbound train.)  Get off at Finchley Road Station.   See map to get from Finchley Road to Southwell House.

Paddington

Look for the Underground  Get the Circle Line to Baker Street   you will need a zone 1 & 2 ticket (£3.00)   At Baker Street change and go to the Metropolitan Line platforms.
Get any Northbound train.  Get off at Finchley Road (one stop).  (Journey time about 10 minutes). See map to get from Finchley Road to Southwell House.

Victoria

follow the signs for the Underground .   You will need to buy a zone 1 & 2 underground ticket (£3.00)    Look for the Victoria Line going northwards   Take any train and get off at Green Park (one stop)
Get the Jubilee Line going northwards, and  take any train (destination usually - but not always - Stanmore or Wembley Park)   Get off at Finchley Road Station.    See map to get from Finchley Road station to Southwell House.

Waterloo

Look for the Underground (the best entrance is opposite the low numbered platforms on Waterloo station)   Take a Jubilee Line train northbound to Finchley Road.    You need a zone 1 & 2 ticket (£3.00)   See map to get from Finchley Road to Southwell House.
