This is a one day programme for adults and
other leaders, especially those who come from the voluntary sector, who work with groups
of young people. It provides an introduction to youth work, its aims and objectives,
working methods, and its beliefs. This programme will be ideal for those who work
with groups of young people in youth clubs, confirmation groups, and other such
situations,, who wish to find out more about youth work or begin training. Arrangements: Saturday, April 19th 2008:.10.00am - 4.30pm Charge £40, including refreshments and lunch. There is a reduced charge of £20 for those who work in a voluntary capacity with any youth group. Young leaders under 19 need only pay £10.
