Two programmes which take place partly in London and partly in Auschwitz in Poland.  One is for young people over 16, and the other for adults.

The programmes cover issues of tolerance, acceptance, indifference, discrimination, prejudices, ‘banality of evil’ and meaning of individuals’ freedom and responsibilities that will be held in Oswiecim (Auschwitz), Poland.

The Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp is not only a monument to horror, not only the world’s biggest cemetery, but it is also an educational place that can be used to build a new understanding of civil societies and the role of individuals in them. From our experience we know that the place itself offers great opportunities for young people to reflect on the current social and political events; that it challenges and questions them; that it offers a space to evaluate their values and understanding of world. It is the place that can, like no other place, empower  people and stimulate a very positive change.

Fuller details of these programmes are given in the links below.

Important note: because of the cost of air fares, there will be a surcharge for any programme for which a 50% deposit has not been received by May 29th 2008.

Young people over 16: Sunday July 6th 2008 to Saturday 12th (times to be confirmed).   Further details are available.   Cost will be decided nearer the time.
Adults:  Monday July 21st 2008 to Thursday 24th (times to be confirmed).  Further details are available.  Cost will be decided nearer the time.
