Meeting rooms
there are four main meeting rooms, The Conference Room, The Other Room, The Front Room,
and The Training Room. Room bookings include tea and coffee on arrival, mid-morning,
at lunchtime, and at afternoon tea-time. Rooms are charged for by the day.
Please click for pictures of rooms and further details, and for charges including
discounts for charitable and welfare groups, and for young people. When you book
please let us know how you would like the chairs arranged, and see the note below about
equipment. Break-out rooms: there are four small rooms for use as break-out rooms: Buzz Room A (about 15), Buzz Room B (about 15) Buzz Room C (about 6), and The Bar (about 12). One such room can usually be made available free of charge, being allocated on the day, but you must indicate your need for it when you book your main meeting room. If you need to book more than one, or need a particular room to be available all day, you need to book it and pay for it. Please click for pictures or rooms and for charges. Meals can be booked in our dining room. Most diets can be catered for. A few vegetarian meals are routinely provided, but please let us know in good time if anyone will need any diet other than vegetarian. Lunch-time is usually a buffet with hot items and salad items, fruit and cheese; supper time is a main course and a sweet course. Charges are listed below. Discounts for some types of groups, and for numbers over 15 are available. Accommodation is in rooms with two or three beds, but they are available for single occupancy (there are about 24 rooms in total). The rooms are not en-suite. Equipment: most equipment is included free of charge, but please note that we only have one or two of some items. It helps if we know in advance what you need. Select from: tables, flip-chart stands (with pads and pens), whiteboards (with pens), loop system, DVD or VCR to video, slide projector, data projector for PowerPoint presentations, computer for use with data projector, audio CD players, internet access, conference phone, and so on. [Please see the note about data projectors.] Charges: the charges shown here are in full (before discounts) and do not include VAT. They apply to bookings made up to September 30th 2007. They do not apply to bookings which include the services of our youth work team. Terms and conditions apply to all bookings. Printable copy of charge rates is available. Photocopies are 4p per side INCLUDING VAT. [Data projectors: projectors accept video and VGA type inputs. Computers may be lap-top or tower mounted on a trolley. Software for showing (but not editing) Microsoft PowerPoint (various versions) is installed. Computers accept presentations on floppy, CD, DVD, or USB drive. Beyond ensuring that the equipment we supply works satisfactorily, we do not provide technical expertise.]
